10 years ago, the breakthrough that gave birth to the modern AI wave

Fucking Amazing

To this, and all the other AI we have today.

Guess what other technology had a breakthrough 10 years ago???

both were born at the same time.

both were born at the same time, But one has had exponential compounding advancements.

While the other hasn’t advanced for shit.

Today we have AI 10000x better than what we had back then.

But for blockchain - Still hardly anything other than Bitcoin that is useful or used by anyone at all.

So you’ve got to ask yourself why that is. Really, why.

Bitcoin succeed at bring unstoppable from day 1. Yet no one has come close.

Why did AI immediately continue on an exponential compounding path, while crypto stayed stagnant and fumbling around.

Sabotage attempt?

Crypto is a threat to fiat paper money

Which makes it hard for the deep state or bankers to control

think about all possible reasons

what was it that AI suddenly got, that blockchain never got at all?

No none of the 101 stuff

think about all possible reasons.

Hopefully one of you gets it.

Blockchain is immutable. Ai is dynamic and adapts.

You can achieve monopoly with AI, not blockchain.

blockchain is not so immutable, though it tries to be. Anyway not that

the measurement part is good. Blockchain does need that, but still that’s only part of the bigger picture for why the 2 fields took drastically different paths.

Don’t stay up too late, do hardships (learn something). Night

AI does not care for race, politics, and anti meritocracy. It is not able to be “poisoned” in the traditional sense - for control of populace.

Although it quite likely AI will be used to suppress populations in the future - this is unlikely to halt its progress towards its own sentience and exponential growth.

*A few years ago Google admitted its AI in development - had created a highly efficient language on its own - that no one could understand.

Blockchain i cant say - at this stage i don’t know enough.

:fire::ru: Ночью в Краснодаре сгорел 8-этажный дом
Полностью выгорели 54 квартиры, почти 60 семей остались без крова
Эвакуировано более 300 человек
Сгорело 88 квартир — весь верхний этаж

:fire::ru: An 8-storey building burned down in Krasnodar at night
54 apartments were completely burned out, almost 60 families were left homeless
More than 300 people were evacuated
88 apartments burned down - the entire top floor

:fire::ru: “The preliminary cause of the fire is a wiring fault,” the head of the city wrote in his telegram channel. “Dismantling of dangerous structures has begun, then investigative actions will begin in the house”
Residents themselves say that the reason for the rapid spread of the fire is in combustible insulation. In addition, this is a “difficult” house,
which was passed into operation through the courts

Interestingly, only in Russia firefighters get to the place of fire in city for more than an hour ???

:fire: A fire in multi-storey building on Russian street in Krasnodar occurred at about 2 am
“The emergency mode of operation of the electrical network in the sockets led to the fire,” said a TASS source in emergency services.
Firefighters began to extinguish only an hour (!) after the start fire
P.S. It no wonder, because the authorities are busy with the election of governors today, they have no time for fires

Recap 9/12/2020

  1. Russia is preparing an electromagnetic strike against US using a new generation of electromagnetic weapons — ICBMs with electromagnetic warheads, with a range of up to 400 kilometers. The explosion creates extremely strong electromagnetic radiation (EMP), which paralyzes enemy air defense systems, military bases, headquarters and communications within a radius of 400 km. Now Russia is developing electromagnetic weapons, and electromagnetic warheads can be used on transcontinental ballistic missiles. “Detonation of a warhead capable of creating a powerful omnidirectional EMP allows destroying an entire airbase, disrupting the operation of satellites, disconnecting communications, knocking out enemy air and missile defense systems, etc. Just a few strikes on US territory will allow completely suppress the US Air Force, Navy and air defense/missile defense systems, moreover, with absolutely no losses in manpower. Noteworthy that in the event of detonation of such a warhead at an altitude of several tens of kilometers, the US air defense means will not be enough - maximum target interception height is only 30 kilometers, and the radius of EMP destruction reaches 400 kilometers,” notes experts. [Have you ever wondered how an electromagnetic weapon works? And what if it’s an intercontinental missile with an electromagnetic warhead?]

  2. A powerful blast thundered at the position of Turkish Armed Forces in the village of Jalma, canton of Afrin. Turkish helicopters arrived at the scene and evacuated the wounded soldiers. Sources say the blast was caused by artillery fire from the Syrian government forces.

  3. Space Force to celebrate 1st birthday with personnel picks, promotion plans. With its first birthday a few months away, the Space Force is preparing to unveil a slew of personnel, policy, and culture decisions that will set it apart.

  4. White House memo looks ahead to cybersecurity in outer space. In preparation for Federal efforts in outer space, the Trump Administration is calling on leaders across government to prepare space IT systems against cyberattacks before launch.

  5. The past day was clearly unfortunate for space exploration. The first attempt to launch the Astra rocket ended in failure. Astra Rocket 3.1 successfully lifted off the launch pad from the Pacific Spaceport Complex - Alaska (PSCA) launch pad on Kodiak Island.
The flight took place in normal mode, but at about 30 seconds the rocket engines suddenly turned off. The Xin-Hua Agency reported on an unsuccessful attempt to launch a Chinese Earth remote sensing satellite into space by a KZ-1A carrier rocket.

6.,Mark Z. Jacobson: “The bigger news here is that this plane must fit two people. This Man Just Became the First Person to Parachute From a Solar-Powered Plane.”

  1. Unidentified Aerial Phenomena: “The USS Princeton had been tracking these UFOs, which would appear at 80,000 feet, drop to about 50 feet above the water in less than 2 seconds, and hover over the water for a while. Then they would leave radar range or shoot back up into the sky. - AN/SPY-1B radar system”

  2. Ex-Google boss: US ‘dropped the ball’ on innovation. Eric Schmidt says America has fallen behind China when it comes to funding new technology. [Even Eric is locked out of the Black World. Only thing he’s right about is that Google’s completely gone to shit, and China is laughing all the way to the bank. Nice job dropping the ball and letting the Wokies take over.]b

  3. The IRS is looking for private sector help in launching a Cryptocurrency Tracing pilot program for tracing and attribution of privacy coins and Layer 2 off-chain transactions, with the aim of assisting the agency’s cyber-crime mission relating to cryptocurrency privacy technologies. The contractor for the pilot program will provide weekly status reports on progress including major accomplishments, upcoming tasks, and issues or concerns. Additionally, all documentation, data, source code, and software developed will be provided to IRS, Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI). [Underreported. Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your Ledger. The American Empire is feeling the heat of Bitcoin. Yet they still fail to understand the meaning of unstoppability. Pandora’s box has been opened. We don’t take gold bars to Mars.]

  4. U.S. budget deficit hits all-time high of $3 trillion. That’s more than double previous record of $1.4 billion set in 2009 during the Great Recession.

  5. The coming wave of defaults. We face a new wave of mortgage and rental delinquencies, many of which will come in the next few months.

  6. Chinese virologist claims she has proof COVID-19 was made in Wuhan lab. A Chinese virologist who has reportedly been in hiding for fear of her safety has stepped out into the public eye again to make the explosive claim that she has the scientific evidence to prove it.

  7. Sebastian Gaudio, an Argentinian COVID vaccine volunteer, was interviewed saying on national TV that he was told he couldn’t have children for two years after the shot and that he wasn’t told why. He had to sign a confidentiality agreement and all info was sent to the USA.

  8. No change in Belarus: hard detentions at today’s “women’s march” in the center of Minsk.

  9. Britain is risking a car-crash Brexit of food shortages, another recession and isolation. In the four years that have passed since Britain voted to leave the European Union, business executives have consistently delivered one message to the country’s political leaders: Do not under any circumstances crash out of our largest export market without a deal to protect trade. Now, after painstaking negotiations that resulted in an amicable divorce with the European Union earlier this year, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has instigated a confrontation with Brussels that could turn the nightmare “no-deal” scenario for business into reality. The UK government said this week that it intends to break the terms of the divorce agreement that settled the country’s departure from the European Union at the end of January. EU officials have given Johnson until the end of this month to abandon his would-be violation of international law.

  10. Germany stops harvest and ”temporarily bans agriculture" as African Swine Fever reaches Europe. Germany institutes “Agriculture Ban” on all crops within 30km of first confirmed African Swine Fever (ASF), which will not only provide food and shelter to the wild hogs spreading the virus, but deprive Germany of that food left in the ground. [If this irrational response sets precedent as the virus spreads across west Europe, we will witness the deliberate shutdown of food production, contributing to major global food shortages. Start growing food now.]

  11. An amateur astronomer in Brazil has discovered a kilometer-sized asteroid, showing that some civilization-destroying near-Earth objects still await discovery. NASA Asteroid Watch: “There are no currently ongoing drills or exercises involving asteroid impact, but we do occasionally do exercises with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to be prepared for if and when a possible threat may arise. Always be prepared!” blank: “Then why the planned asteroid drills around that time on west coast? Just practice? Serious question thanks.” Michael Salla: “Asteroid Impact drill set for Sept 20, 2020 involves NASA, FEMA, USAF, et al. All major False Flag attacks, Sept 11, 2001, New York/Washington & July 7, 2007, London, were preceded by drills. Circumstantial evidence that a FF asteroid impact is on its way.” Aussie Hodl: “An asteroid impact drill is set for Sep 20, 2020 by FEMA, NASA, USAF and other agencies.” NASA 2019: “Fire drill. Earthquake drill. Tornado drill. Asteroid drill. We like to be prepared. While Earth is safe from all known asteroids, this week we’re joining our partners to practice what to do if in a different situation.” Jackie: “”Remember EVENT 201 was JUST a drill!!! WTF?—-NASA & FEMA CONDUCTED “ASTEROID IMPACT” DRILLS FOR IMPACT IN SEPTEMBER OF 2020!” Intellihub: “NASA and FEMA prepare for Sept 20 Asteroid impact in California, off coast: Documents reveal. The question we must now ask is: will the drill go live? Actual asteroid to make its close approach to Earth on Sept 20!”

  12. Over 500K people in Oregon under evacuation order amid wildfires. Wildfires scorch millions of acres in Western U.S. as Oregon braces for 'mass fatality event.’ The historic fires have burned millions of acres and decimated homes in California, Oregon and Washington State, as officials brace for more fatalities and evacuations. About 100 large fires were burning Saturday in the US West, including 12 in Idaho and 9 in Montana. Fires have burned more than 4.5 million acres in 12 states. In Lyons, more than 60 miles south of Portland, the Beachie Creek Fire left neighborhoods in rubble and scorched more than 186,000 acres. Oregon blazes tore through multiple communities in the Cascade mountain range as well as areas of coastal rainforest normally spared from wildfires. In eastern Washington state, fire destroyed most of the tiny farming town of Malden. In central Oregon search-and-rescue teams entered devastated communities in Santiam Valley to look for missing people. House fire above an aircraft hanger in a rural area of unincorporated Auburn extinguished by crews from Mountainview Fire, Valley Regional Fire Authority, Enumclaw, and Puget Sound Fire. An aggressive fire attack by all involved saved the hanger and aircraft.[You never hear the words “mass fatality event” connected with a forest fire. However, if you connect the dots with the 9/20/2020 NASA and FEMA drill, this makes us wonder.]

  13. California’s fires are creating eerie volcanic clouds. The speed with which such pyrocumulus clouds, reminiscent the aftermath of an atomic explosion, form and change, combined with the heat of the fire, lead to quick, massive temperature swings in the atmosphere, producing unpredictable and severe winds. There were fire tornados in both Brazil and California. In Panjin County, China, there was a strange tornado-like cloud coming from a paraffin factory. [These unusual pyrocumulus clouds are reminiscent of the consequences of an atomic explosion. This is very similar to the result of exposure to an EMP (electromagnetic pulse). What the hell is going on out there?]

  14. Local businesses closing due to ‘hazardous’ smoky air blanketing Seattle. The smoky haze smothering Seattle and Portland have earned those cities the worst air quality ranking in the world at the moment, and it’s only getting worse. Restaurant closures start rolling in due to air quality conditions. Bay Area food businesses are now making day-to-day and hour-to-hour decisions on whether to keep operating.

  15. Capital Weather Gang: “It was as if the sun never rose over the San Francisco Bay Area Wednesday and the smoke-induced darkness is throwing people, plants and even power systems off-kilter." Sean O’Shea: “This feels like what nuclear winter really is. Like prolonged smoke blocking out the sun ruins crops etc.”

  16. Mikeal Béland: “Why am I one of only a handful of people talking about how the breadbasket of America has been poisoned by these fires? 2/3 of fruit & vegetables come from California. What wasn’t burned out & left rotting in the fields has been soaked by toxic plumes. Food shortages are coming.” The Food Professor: “California produces 1/3 of the vegetables and 2/3 of the U.S.'s fruits and nuts. Canada imports billions of produce every year from California. This could be a problem for us this fall. No sun, no growing. Canada imports about $3.1 billion worth of food from California, every year. For the fall and winter months, the U.S., especially California, plays a key role in replenishing our grocery baskets. Smoke is intense this year, could damage several crops.” Zeus Tipado: “People don’t realize how much the California fires will affect sun grown cannabis. entire crops will have to be thrown away due to ash and smoke damage.” [I’m hinting at it as a theory. In reality, I think this is what’s going on in the meetings between the FDA and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). CA is the main producer of fresh fruit and vegetables in the US; the fires have damaged crops statewide. It’s not only the heat proximity and the smoke making the plants wilt, but must importantly, the sun is blocked, so there can be no photosynthesis. Indoor crops warehouses that had been in the works are been given expedited setup permits. Restock primarily frozen produce. One night of frost destroys millions of crops. The same happens with heat and smog. All West Coast crops are compromised. Do not waste your time chasing rabbit holes. Learn to interpret intel and act upon it. Stay ahead of the curve.]

  17. In regards to the left anarchists setting fires, cops are getting fired for trying to stop the arsonists. Fire teams are being held back from stopping the fires. They’re expecting the fires to continue and reach more suburbs than they already have. This is 4G war.
-On Sep. 9th, the FBI revealed that most of the initial fires of the west coast spread along forest roads. A Chinese man who immigrated to the U.S. was searched because his GPS records of his car showed that he went to a wildfire area many times.
-‘Very dangerous’: Police and FBI investigate power poles cut with chainsaw in Snohomish County. [Climate change my ass.]
-BLM activist livestreams his own arrest after allegedly setting fire in Washington State. A BLM activist and alleged arsonist charged for reckless burning in the second degree had reported a fire set in Washington and then filmed his subsequent arrest.
-Footage merged of Oregon police arresting armed men with AR-15 rifles which had set fire to the Elk woods.
-‘We got another one’: Second man arrested for intentionally starting brush fire in Pierce County. Troopers with the Washington State Patrol on Thursday said they have arrested a second person for intentionally setting a brush fire in Pierce County. Great job Trooper Morefield. A pedestrian decided to match light the grass at SR-512 and SR-7. Citizen observed and alerted 911. After a short foot chase, one is in custody and on his way to jail.
-Auburn, WA: BLM Antifa spotted with a chainsaw pushing an oil drum.
-Four people have been arrested for arson for deliberately starting blazes along the West Coast including one man who live streamed the encounter on social media as the death toll from the devastating wildfires climbed to 29 and Oregon officials warned they are preparing for a ‘mass fatality event’. Two men in Washington state, one man in Oregon and one woman in California are facing arson charges for setting fires in areas that were already grappling with deadly blazes. At least 20 have now been killed in California, eight in Oregon and one in Washington state as thousands of firefighters struggle to bring the blazes under control and the governors of California and Oregon told residents to expect more fatalities in the coming days.
-Kat Cast: “Some of you still think we’re not being under attack. I found this individual walking in my property as I was driving in, all he had were some matches in his hand. Walked him out of my property at gunpoint and then when we got to some asphalt ground on the main road made him lay down while the cops arrived. Had my husband been there he would have been dead. He has got multiple warrants one of them being assaulting a police officer.”
-A woman is behind bars after she is suspected of starting fires in east Spokane on Monday. According to Spokane Police, Officer Mohondro arrived on scene he saw some grass and a pallet on fire outside of a commercial business. SPD said there were no power lines around and there did not seem to be a reason for the start of the fire unless it was human caused. The same officer spotted another fire a few blocks away.
-Law enforcement has launched a criminal investigation into the start of a wildfire in southern Oregon near the communities of Talent, Phoenix, and Medford. The Ashland Police Department, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and Oregon State Police are conducting the criminal investigation, including a resulting death that occurred in the area near the Bear Creek Greenway. The Major Assault/Death Investigation Unit has been activated in the investigation, which is in its preliminary stages. This brings detectives from several agencies into the investigation.
-Man seen starting fires at Oregon state park, fire chief says. Firefighters responded Wednesday to someone attempting to start fires at Dexter State Recreation Area, the fire chief said in a social media post.
-Eastern Washington woman arrested for starting fires while crews worked to fix fallen power lines.

Officers eventually identified 36-year-old Christine Comello, who lied to police about her name. Comello had a felony warrant for burglary and reckless burning, tied to another incident a few weeks prior where she reportedly started fires at a Spokane Valley business.
Comello was identified in surveillance video and confirmed to be the suspect by witnesses, and a lighter and burnt paper was found in her pocket.
-A man is facing charges for attempting to set a fire in the median of SR-167 and Meridian.
Trooper Ryan Burke with the Washington State Patrol tweeted that the 36-year-old man from Puyallup was caught in the act of trying to start the fire. A picture from the scene taken by Trooper Burke shows dry grass burning in the median of the road. The man was quickly arrested and taken to jail. The Washington State Patrol, the Fife Police Department and the Puyallup Police Department all assisted in making the arrest. Since Monday more than 50 fires have been started around the state, burning more than 300,000 acres. As there was no lightning recorded during that period, it is believed that all the fires were human caused.
-We just got level 2 alert (3 is evacuate) We are listening to ham radio and people are getting caught left and right for Arson (I mean in the dozens). We are also hearing that they can’t contain any of the fire. Ham radio channel 155.430 155.190.
-A high school friend out rescuing livestock in the Oregon City / Molalla / Candy area came across this scene. People being arrested for arson while this area is under level 2/3 evac.
-Puyallup PD arrested Jeffrey Acord in relation to the Arson along 167 hwy. In 2014 during an anti-police protest, Acord was charged with possession of a concealed weapon without permit, carrying a knife, and illegal possession of fireworks.
-2 arrests made inside evacuation zone by MCSO Detectives patrolling evacuated area. Charges include gun, drug, and bomb making materials.
-Elias Newton Pendergrass is accused of first-degree arson in the Sweet Creek Milepost 2 fire, which covers 382 acres near the community of Mapleton. Pendergrass, a Mapleton resident, is being held in the Lane County Jail.
-A 55-year-old transient was arrested Monday evening on suspicion of multiple counts of arson, Novato police said. Officers joined the Novato Fire Protection District in responding to a report of a tree on fire in the 1500 block of Novato Boulevard. Another fire was discovered in the area of Diablo Avenue and Novato Boulevard, which officers attended to using fire extinguishers from their vehicles, police officials said. As fire crews worked to contain both fires, officers searched the area and located a suspect lighting a fire on Front Street. Officers detained the suspect, identified as John Davies. Fire crews responded to a third fire, and successfully contained and extinguished all three fires. No structures were damaged and no one was injured. Davies was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of lighting all three fires in the area.

  1. FBI Portland: “Reports that extremists are setting wildfires in Oregon are untrue. Help us stop the spread of misinformation by only sharing information from trusted, official sources.” [Let’s explain why the press and FBI are denying that arson is causing the fires. It’s very simple. The FBI and MSM are lying to avoid a full on Civil War before the 2020 Election. (But they’re perfectly fine with a full on civil war after the election if they don’t get their way. I don’t want one either way. The lying is only making people more angry and confused. It’s only serving to deteriorate trust and respect.) Panic and rage are the trigger of more damage. Interpret the intel and use it to prepare. The fires consequences are going to be felt faster than anyone thinks in everybody’s pockets. Now you understand why we had you all learn indoor farming. Since May 27th we kept you ahead. I understand now why indoor gardening was stressed upon me in getting all of you ready. We fully knew this was going to happen when the virus appeared and the world was shut down. Indoor gardening is the only way to guaranteed fresh good because its in a controlled environment. If there is an explosion - Radioactive or EMP - there will be fires. Millions of years ago dinosaurs became extinct that way. The fires caused smog that blocked the sun, no photosynthesis, no food. They starved to death. The carnivorous died the last. Fires do not just affect the West Coast - what they did is handicap our food source. Martial law will not be enacted upon until triggered by a full on Civil War. When you realize that deep inside and accept that not everyone can be saved, you start preparing differently. We feel bad for everyone, but it is not our job - we have our own pressing matters to prepare for collapse. Half a million people have been displaced from their homes. Imagine if that was the country or the whole world, everyone competing for shelter, food and resources. This is the main reason why it is paramount to conceal your preparedness. This is why from day one we have stressed OPSEC. People who are hungry will organize and raid whoever has supplies. This is why the people in certain military teams have a mandate to be apolitical. If you belong to a side no matter what you tell me, you will enlist people on your side and let the other perish. They are above all that. Add to the mix, social media. People are refusing to evacuate for fears of their homes being looted.]

  2. LA County Sheriffs: “Moments ago, 2 of our Sheriff Deputies were shot in Compton and were transported to a local hospital. They are both still fighting for their lives, so please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. We will update this thread with information as it becomes available.”

  3. Zeke Miller: “Three more bodies located in rubble of Northern California fire, bringing death toll from recent California blazes to 22.” MedfordAlert: “BREAKING: JCSO now believe they have recovered the remains of FIVE victims from fire areas. No further details.”

  4. Princess Corncob: “There are literally people going around telling families they’re under level 3 evacuation in fire areas so they can go and loot their homes. What the fuck is wrong with people?!” Son of Sandor: “A U.S. Marine, Equine Operations Branch, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC), Bridgeport, Calif., loads a mule into a trailer during the evacuation of important base assets in response to the Slink Fire." Smoke is bad again and there’s some unusual traffic.” Jilly Bean: “Updates from the chaos: The evacuation center/fair grounds is near full. A trailer rolled in this morning being towed by a tow truck and missing a wheel but hell they still got here in the end. Another trailer was so full that they had a pony in the tack room.” Positively Dog: “Make sure your evacuation plans include your animals. If you need help, ask on social media. Animal rescues, shelters and volunteers can help with kennels, trailers for livestock, grazing land, pet friendly accommodations, transport etc.” OneBadKittyKat: “How very sad, and scary! Oregon’s highway lanes were clogged with RVs, trailers, trucks, smaller vehicles carrying tool boxes, luggage, trail bikes, horses. was just one part of a half-million strong evacuation in a state confronted by the worst fire conditions in recent history.” [This is an exodus.]

  5. America First: “The Deep State is preparing weather technology attacks. Brutal cold snap expected on the East Coast this Fall. Oh, BTW: a second virus will be released this Fall as well. Too bad our audience is down to 20 people after Twitter suspended our 32,000+ follower account today.” JimF: “The ElectroVerse and Adapt2030 sites refer to the new Grand Solar Minimum as disruptive of the jet stream folding it into a meridional flow pattern. But there does seem to be DEW bursts directed to wildfire areas, not to mention the Antifa and activists busy torching, too.”

  6. WSJ: “Joe Biden wants to raise taxes to pay for an agenda that includes fighting climate change and expanding childcare. We look at how the Democratic presidential candidate’s tax plan would affect individual households.” David Arvidson: “Climate change? We are in the beginning of a grand solar minimum, the temperature is going to go down, isn’t anybody paying attention?”

  7. Electroverse: “There are many reputable scientists out there combating the orchestrated consensus that Earth is heating into oblivion due to trace CO2 — they just don’t receive any airtime, and so the masses are never privy to their alternative lines of research and theories. Furthermore, critical thinking when applied to any subject is generally regarded as heresy, and this concept is drummed into us at school. Can you imagine questioning any of the ‘facts’ contained within a teachers textbook? Doing so, assuming you’re being genuine, will no doubt just piss the teacher off despite the statistic that at least 50% of everything you currently know is wrong: not that long ago, dinosaurs were cold-blooded; increased K-12 spending and lower pupil/teacher ratios boosted public school student outcomes; most of the DNA in the human genome was junk; saccharin caused cancer and a high fiber diet prevented it; and stars couldn’t be bigger than 150 solar masses. However, the purpose of school of course isn’t to open your mind, quite the opposite, in fact — questioning orthodoxies sees you shutdown, and in the case of ‘global warming’, instantly has you labelled a denier for life! With this is mind, the Sun’s historically low activity in cycle 24 took the majority of researchers and solar physicists by complete surprise, particularly with regards to its very long minimum period between cycles 23 and 24 (more than two years in 2008–2010) in which there was a lack of any activity at all.”

  8. As Dr. Patrick Moore (co-founder of Greenpeace) said in his speech at the Water, Oceans and Wildlife Subcommittee hearing in 2019: “I’ve been watching this prediction of the Grand Solar Minimum for some time now, and now it’s coming to pass and so I’m willing to say that yes, it appears as though the Grand Solar Minimum is occurring and will continue to occur for some time, and will result in a cooling of the climate, which we see just in the last couple of years beginning to set in.”

  9. Singh and Bhargawa predict that solar cycle 25 will be lower in comparison to solar cycle 24 –which was already the lowest for 100+ years– while activity during cycle 26 will be lesser in comparison to cycle 25. Furthermore, and after looking at the solar activity pattern during the study, it is also concluded that the minimum will ‘bottom-out’ around the year 2043.

  10. Monthly suicide rates in a New Zealand city, Christchurch, are found to have a highly significant adaptive homeostatic relationship to the monthly sunspot number. A reasonable scientific question is “how can sunspots on the sun cause suicide on the earth?” The answer to the question is “through the Schumann Resonance signal which is modulated by the solar activity and is detected by the human brain and modulates the Melatonin output, which is related to serious depression and suicide.” The Schumann Resonance signal provides a homeostatic control of brain activity. Therefore increased and decreased Schumann Resonance intensity, produced by increased and decreased solar activity, is shown to produce homeostatic relationships with cancer, cardiac, reproductive and neurological disease and mortality rates, including anxiety, depression and suicide. This study has found significant homeostatic relationships between the monthly mean sunspot number and the suicide rates in Christchurch, New Zealand. An adaptive response appears from high, middle, low and very low solar activity over the 11-year sunspot cycle from 1988 to 1998. [Pandemics, solar minima, and upticks in suicide rates all coincide. There is plenty of data backing this for hundreds of years, back through the Dalton and Maunder minima. It’s gone completely underreported. If you’ve felt strange the past three weeks, the Kp Index has been hovering between 0 and 1. We mostly feel best when it’s around a 3. More than a 3, and we experience too much radiation. When it’s low, there is an uptick in anxiety, depression, fatigue, and sometimes strange behavior.]

  11. National Hurricane Center: “A Hurricane Watch is in effect from Grand Isle, LA, to the Alabama/Florida border, where hurricane-force winds are possible by early Tuesday, with tropical storm conditions possible on Monday. Satellite-derived wind data indicate that Tropical Storm Sally has formed and is centered just off the southwest coast of Florida. Maximum sustained winds are 40 mph.”

  12. Rare sandstorm ransacks Turkish capitol. Areas across northern Turkey, including the capitol city of Ankara, were plunged into darkness on Saturday afternoon as a sandstorm ripped through the region. While this is typically the dry season for Ankara, sandstorms are unusual for the city due to the mountainous terrain to the north. Rudaw English: “A freak sandstorm hit Turkey’s capital Ankara on Saturday. Six people were injured in strong winds.” [I wonder where such a strong dust storm in Turkey came from today. According to Turks themselves, while this is typically the dry season for Ankara, sandstorms are unusual for the city.]

  13. Around 50 feared dead in DR Congo gold mine collapse after heavy rainfall. About 50 people are feared dead after a gold mine collapsed in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo following torrential rain, local authorities said Saturday. The announcement led Spain to seize direct control of the region for the first time since the fall of dictator Francisco Franco in 1975.
