Might be a parody flag, but this is a very useful skillset to have.

Useful skill

Remember gang Ashli Babbit is alive

Load and unloading cargo,

Many NTO candidates are forklift certified

It’s even made into a strong point in Aliens series in Which even though Ripley is a Science Officer she is still able to hold her own weight

Hmm okok

I want you all to watch this episode.

In the White World, this is the purest example of what a meritocracy is like on Earth.

In a meritocratic society, members work together to achieve common goals. These values come up often in sci-fi media as a form of soft disclosure.

If some of you truly want to know what life is like on the sea floor (which is referred to as The Floor) or off-world (under the dome on Mars), this is it.

The women Anthony Bourdain interviews are made of the same mettle as Ellen Ripley.

These women are able to carry their own weight in a multitude of skills, including HAM radio, first aid, welding, knowledge and usage of weaponry, etc.

(Also Mars could use a bit more Women too. Just saying…)

Tomorrow, we will discuss why espousing a meritocracy is crucial in these environments - and why anti-meritocracy is a threat to society.

@Vhayul very useful skillset to have and even helps in triggering the OML

Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Other NASA Skywatching Tips for April 2021 – SciTechDaily

Been driving them, but forklifts are not such a deal right lol

Matter of perspective

In Antarctica the PHD washing dishes during his first season this minute can help the Facility Operations move gear :gear: from the docks to the kitchen.

World could have gone to shit and your survival group is doing reconnaissance and in order to
move pallets of food you become the MVP because you can operate a Forkift

Dr. Michael Yeadon, Pfizer’s former Vice President and Chief Scientist for Allergy & Respiratory who spent 32 years in the industry leading new medicines research and retired from the pharmaceutical giant with “the most senior research position” in his field, spoke with LifeSiteNews.

He addressed the “demonstrably false” propaganda from governments in response to COVID-19, including the “lie” of dangerous variants, the totalitarian potential for “vaccine passports,” and the strong possibility we are dealing with a “conspiracy” which could lead to something far beyond the carnage experienced in the wars and massacres of the 20th century.

‘Look out the window, and think, “why is my government lying to me about something so fundamental?” Because, I think the answer is, they are going to kill you using this method. They’re going to kill you and your family.’

Asteroid is going to hit Earth in a ELE Extinction Level Event the OML is searching for individuals to go underground and laborers are needed. You are chosen because you have Forklift and other hard skills

I was OSHA certified for the forklift over 10 years ago for some job site compliance, but have not been certified since. I own two forklifts as well as other equipment we use everyday for our business and also in the field. Is there a proper way to get certification ex post facto? We have a Multi-Crane, Loader, Grader, Swing Hoe, Back Hoe, SkidSteer, etc that our family is very skilled with. My 19 year old son tiled a short ditch yesterday and built up the road next to his house to move Farm Equipment to other fields. We are very experienced, just not certified.

No big deal yes, but the goal is to turn you in a Swiss Army Knife

Not a hammer :hammer:

Nice one

If you watch the Nolan films or any of the Wizardry related Black Project films you will see that all the protagonists are highly skilled in a multitude of Areas. This is intentionally done to inspire the next generation and the films are all used as “training aids” but this also gives you an idea :bulb: of what’s training is like in SOCOM and Langley as well as Black Project schools

English: I am extremely skilled at using Swiss Army knives since I was 7 years old… but driving heavy machinery is taboo for me… :joy:

Yeah I think I understand your stream of thought. I often watch Netflix to find hidden clues put there by the directors. They often want to mislead the current generation by cunningly ascribing fallacies to plots.

Prime has quite a different broadcasting character, they seem to be more open about their plans.

Could you name such a film?

It’s new to me
