Across the world, we hear stories of how residents are being threatened by their program directors if they refuse to see COVID patients without PPE. Residents have been forbidden from bringing their own PPE, if they are lucky enough to be able to buy their own.
Others find themselves unable to find any to buy needed supplies even when they are available, governments having enacted emergency laws that have caused supplies to be rapidly funneled out of the country.
Many have been fired, some have died.
We find that program administrators, the middle management of the medical industry, enact these policies for one simple reason – maximizing profit.
Here we take a stand against these medical abuses, by naming and shaming the institutions responsible for these needless, avoidable tragedies.
